I love this post - particularly the part about shopping carts - one of my absolute pet peeves. It kills Nate that I'll park in BFE instead of next to a rogue shopping cart that might scratch my luxurious Ford Explorer. I didn't know that about the shampoos/body washes, but I'll definitely pay more attention, even though spending too much money on shampoos is a pet peeve of mine too. I hate those awful red bumps. While, this is true to the extent that the earth is most likely in a natural warming trend right now, too much evidence has been shown that makes it perfectly clear that the warming cycule is being catalyzed by human activity. I can't imagine any reasonable person thinking that the warming cycle that normally takes thousands of years to complete can occur in just 100 years and think that humans do not have a part in it. I don't know if you have these in Colorado but we have commercials running on the Albany, NY station about high fructose corn syrup trying to dispel the fact that it's bad for you. It's just about as bad as the Nutella commercials that claim Nutella helps kids to eat healthy foods like whole grain bread.
